Good concept, minor issue

I purchased the Pavlok 3 to help with a bad habit, and the device itself is quite effective. The build quality feels sturdy, and the app is intuitive. Delivery was prompt, arriving within the estimated window. My only small criticism is that the charging cable included was a bit short. It makes finding a convenient spot to charge it a little tricky sometimes. Otherwise, it's been a positive experience overall.

Good deal, decent product

I got the Pavlok 3 during a holiday sale. The 20% off bundle deal made it an easy decision. It felt like a good value for the price. I've been trying to cut down on procrastination, and it's been surprisingly helpful. Definitely worth what I paid.

Got the Shock Clock

So I finally caved and bought the Shock Clock 3. My friend kept telling me about it. It got here pretty quick, took about 4 days to reach me in California. Setting it up was easy, just connected it to the app. Woke me up this morning for real, no snoozing. So far so good!

Detailed Pavlok 3 review

I ordered the Pavlok 3 after seeing some reviews online. The ordering process on their website was straightforward, and I received an order confirmation email immediately. Shipping took about 6 business days to arrive in New York, which was within their estimated timeframe. The packaging was simple but effective, and the device arrived undamaged. Setup was pretty easy; I downloaded the app, paired the device via Bluetooth, and ran through the initial calibration. The zap sensation is noticeable but not painful, as expected. I've been using it for a week now to track my water intake and it gives a gentle buzz when I forget, which is a nice reminder. Customer support wasn't needed, everything worked out of the box. The battery life has been solid, lasting several days before needing a recharge. The wristbands are comfortable, though I might try a mesh metal one later on for a different feel. Overall, it seems like a well-designed product for habit tracking and modification.

Another solid purchase

This was my third time buying from Pavlok. I upgraded my old Shock Clock 2 to the Shock Clock 3, and also picked up some new silicone wristbands. Everything arrived on time, just like my previous orders. The quality is consistently good, and the app still works flawlessly. I keep coming back because their products just work for me, and I appreciate that reliability.

Trying to choose between Pavlok and something like the Oura Ring. Anyone have experience with both, especially for focus/productivity?

E Emily L. 3 weeks ago
Oura Ring is more about sleep and general wellness tracking, not really for active aversion therapy. Pavlok is specifically designed to give you a jolt for bad habits or to keep you focused. They're pretty different tools.

A Alex Gomez 3 weeks ago
Yeah, Oura is passive monitoring. Pavlok is active intervention. If you want something to literally train yourself out of a habit, Pavlok is the one.

Are there ever bigger sales than the usual 10-20% off codes? Like during Black Friday or something?

J Jacob Jones 1 month ago
Definitely. Black Friday and Cyber Monday usually have their best deals, I've seen bundles go for up to 30% off then. Worth waiting if you're not in a rush.

They also do holiday sales, sometimes even back to school. Sign up for their newsletter, they announce those bigger events there.

Anyone got a student discount code they're not using? Or know where to find one?

H Hannah J. 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually have student discounts. Check their site's footer or a specific page for it. Sometimes UNiDAYS or similar platforms have them.

M Melissa Jackson 1 month ago
I think I found mine through an influencer promo code a while back that was stackable with a student deal. But they usually only let you use one code per order now, afaik.

Thinking of getting the Pavlok 3. Does it really help with smoking like they claim? Seems a bit wild.

A Adam 2 weeks ago
My buddy used it for nail-biting, said it worked wonders after a couple of weeks. Different habit, but same concept right? The zap definitely gets your attention.

I saw some reviews for smoking cessation, seemed pretty split. Some swear by it, others said it wasn't enough. Guess it depends on how committed you are too.

Hey, what's the deal with returns? If it doesn't work for me, am I stuck with it?

J Jennifer 3 weeks ago
Nah, they have a pretty decent money-back guarantee. I think it's like a month or something. Check their site, but you should be good.

M Megan Thomas 3 weeks ago
Yeah, returns were easy. Just make sure you initiate it within the timeframe, don't wait till the last minute.

Does anyone know if Pavlok ships to Canada? And if so, what's the usual shipping time like?

M Megan D. 1 month ago
They do ship internationally, so Canada should be fine. Shipping times can vary though, I'd expect maybe 1-2 weeks, possibly longer with customs.

Got mine in Toronto a while back, took about 10 days. Not super fast, but not terrible either.

Is the Shock Clock 3 much different from the regular Pavlok 3? Just need something to wake me up reliably.

J James Nelson 1 week ago
Shock Clock 3 is basically just for waking you up, like a super effective alarm. Pavlok 3 has more features for habit breaking throughout the day. If it's just the alarm you need, SC3 is probably enough.
4
L Leah Wright 1 week ago
The Pavlok 3 has more habit tracking and integrations. If you just want to zap yourself awake, the Shock Clock 3 is perfect and probably a bit cheaper.
